Reports to: Head of Brand
We’re looking for a dynamic and creative Content Creator & Social Media Manager, who has a flair for visual storytelling and a passion for all things social media. You will play a crucial role in shaping our brand’s voice, executing well thought-out content strategies and connecting with our audience. You'll be responsible for creating compelling content across multiple platforms and managing our social media channels to enhance our online presence. You will collaborate closely with our team to create compelling narratives that elevate our brand’s visibility and resonate with our audience. RESPONSIBILITIES
Capture the essence of the Neighbourgood brand by creating compelling, high-quality, engaging content for our multiple social media platforms that reflects our brand identity.
Create and schedule engaging social media content, both planned and quick-response, to drive audience growth, engagement, and brand awareness.
Develop a content strategy that aligns with the brand's visual identity, values, and messaging framework, ensuring all content communicates the brand consistently.
Develop and execute social media strategies to boost engagement and grow our online community.
Manage and curate content for our social media platforms, including LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, TikTok and YouTube.
Stay up-to-date with industry trends and in tune with social media trends, leveraging them to create relevant and timely content, as well as applying best practices to social media strategies.
Craft copy that speaks in the brand's tone of voice and is optimised for each channel.
Engage with our audience by responding to comments, messages, and reviews in a timely and professional manner.
Maintain and develop our unique brand voice across all content and social media channels.
Ensure consistency in messaging and tone across all platforms and materials.
Work closely with the brand and marketing team to brainstorm and implement creative campaigns.
QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field.
Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in social media management, ideally with a socially active brand.
Proven experience in content creation, social media management, and community engagement.
Strong storytelling ability adaptable to brand voice.
Hands-on experience and proficiency in social media platforms and content management systems.
A creative thinker with the ability to generate fresh and engaging ideas.
Excellent writing skills and strong grammar, editing, and proofreading skills.
Strong analytical skills, with an ability to interpret data and adjust strategies in real time.
Meticulous with a keen eye for detail.
Excellent organisational and time management skills.
Thrives in a fast-paced environment, meeting deadlines consistently.
Extroverted personality, with great interpersonal and communication skills.
Self-starter who is able to work independently.
