JOB DESCRIPTION


Reports to: Head of Hospitality Operations

As a Sales Executive, you'll be responsible for executing the sales strategy of Neighbourgood with the ultimate objective of maximising revenue across all revenue generating outlets. As the “face” of Neighbourgood amongst the corporate and travel trade you will be responsible for driving proactive sales plans through active relationship building and sales calls.

RESPONSIBILITIES


  • Responsible for all Corporate and Travel Agent sales for the group

  • Clear understanding of the hotels business strategies in order to set goals and to determine action plans to meet those goals.

  • Update action plans in accordance with financial objectives quarterly

  • Identify new markets and business opportunities in order to increase sales across various revenue streams.

  • Represent Neighbourgood at various events and exhibitions.

  • Conduct daily sales calls and arrange site inspection trips to Neighbourgood locations by corporate and travel clients.

  • Able to provide quick and timely responses to help develop long term business relationships.

  • Assist in any way possible to provide the highest level of customer service at all times as needed.

  • Executes and supports all operational aspects of business booked which is including and not limited to generating corporate proposals, corporate and travel rate agreements and all corporate correspondence.

  • Drive customer loyalty through supporting Neighbourgood's client retention strategy.

  • Work closely with the revenue management team to ensure that proposed rate negotiations meet Neighbourgood’s financial objectives.

  • Attend all departmental and property meetings as necessary.

  • Target key account potentials for Neighbourgood.

  • Builds and strengthens relationships with existing and new customers to enable future bookings. Activities include sales calls, trade shows etc.

  • Closely follow up on all business leads within a 24 hour response time line to clients.

  • Actively promote Neighbourgood to all stakeholders in order to increase our membership base.

  • Make suggestions and manage revenue budget allocations in accordance with new business proposed group wide.

  • Aid and assist where required in all new product development conversations in order to ensure pre launch sales targets are actively met.

QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS


  • Customer and hospitality service and/or sales experience is a must

  • Must have strong verbal and written communication skills

  • Exceptional organisational and multitasking skills

  • Demonstrate integrity, dependability, responsibility, accountability, self-awareness, work ethic, and empathy

  • Passion and understanding for Neighbourgood’s mission and values

  • Proficient in basic computer skills
